Cintas:

Cintas are hand-made belts worn by the men of the Altiplano.  Because they are worn as adornments along with other festive clothing and because status depends on quality of such wear, great care is usually taken in making them.  They make great wall-hangings, smaller ones make great hatbands.  They could even be used as belts!
